About MAYA

The practices of Yoga and Mindfulness have been used for the development of greater mind stability, body strength and flexibility, and for nurturing the essential qualities of the heart:

non-violence, loving kindness, compassion, and forbearance since ancient times. 

In MAYA School of Yoga and Mindfulness our vision is to create a safe and supportive learning environment where our students can explore the teachings of Yoga and Mindfulness and develop vital life skills of deeper awareness of body and mind, which when brought to every part of daily human experience can positively influence their choices, help them create conditions for living in a non-judgmental, compassionate, accepting, loving and peaceful way, sharing the benefits with families, friends and wider community.
